The PM2700 shaper features an extra-large 30 x 40" precision ground cast iron table and a heavy-duty miter gauge with an aluminum extruded support. It includes a retractable built-in omni-directional caster system (patent pending) for shop mobility, a quick-release lever for fast speed and belt changes, and an industrial fence system equipped with several T-slots for mounting a wood face. The fence allows for quick positioning and precision micro adjustments on each side of the cutter. A spindle height digital readout facilitates adjustments to within .001", essential for aligning rail and stile cutters for raised panel doors. Additional specifications include a 3HP totally enclosed motor, two reversible spindle speeds, and a table that is pre-drilled and tapped for feeder mounting in two locations. The design also incorporates dual featherboards on the fence for enhanced work holding capabilities.
