The TN-800 tube and pipe notcher is designed to notch tubes from 1" to 3" OD without the need for changes in tooling, hole saws, or mandrels, making it ideal for structural work, racing, off-road chassis, and steam pipe applications. It features Baileigh's patented design (patent no: 6,435,783), which significantly reduces tooling costs compared to competing models. The decimal angle-finder allows users to achieve precise notch angles for improved fit and welding efficiency, while its robust cast iron construction ensures durability. The notcher is powered by a 1 HP motor operating on 110-volt power, allowing for operation in various locations, including the field, and can notch up to 60°. The milling speed of 350 RPM strikes a balance between cutting power and machine longevity. The tooling-free design simplifies the notching process, with an adjustable vise offering X- and Y-axis control for optimal cutting positioning. A degree or angle-finder aids in ensuring repeatability, and the cam lock facilitates traditional notching by allowing users to set specific angles. Additionally, the TN-800 comes with a portable cart featuring wheels for easy storage when not in use.
