The portable frame features a unique, one-piece design that easily folds for transport and storage and unfolds for deployment. Once assembled, the LaneGuard 3® remains fully assembled and measures less than 3 inches thick when folded. It has been tested to meet the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) guidelines and includes an FHWA eligibility letter WZ-336. Setup and teardown can be accomplished in seconds, and the frame measures 46 inches long without centerboards. The barricade boards are blow-molded from high-density polyethylene, UV-stabilized, and feature a reinforced structure. Their wave design enhances strength and rigidity, reducing sagging and warping. The closed ends are designed to prevent dirt and moisture accumulation as well as deter bees and hornets from nesting. Molded-through holes provide additional strength and support, facilitating quicker installations. The retroreflective sheeting complies with all state and federal specifications, and is available in engineer, hi-intensity, and diamond grades, with FHWA acceptance letters WZ-173, WZ-336, and WZ-244 included.
