The Portable Frame Kit includes a unique, one-piece design that folds for transport and storage and unfolds for deployment, ensuring that once assembled, the LaneGuard 3® remains assembled. It measures less than 3 inches thick when folded and can be set up or torn down in seconds. The frame is 46 inches long without centerboards and has been tested to comply with the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) guidelines, supported by the FHWA eligibility letter WZ-336. The barricade boards are blow-molded from high-density polyethylene, UV-stabilized, and feature a reinforced structure. Their wave design enhances strength and stiffness of the centerboard, minimizing sagging and warping. Closed ends prevent dirt and moisture accumulation and deter bees and hornets from nesting. Additionally, molded-through holes add strength and support, facilitating faster installations. The retroreflective sheeting meets all state and federal specifications and is available in engineer, hi-intensity, and diamond grades, with FHWA acceptance letters WZ-173, WZ-336, and WZ-244.
