The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-1/4 inch 45 degree street elbow with NPT male x female connections, suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fitting is rated for pressures up to 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. It offers superior corrosion resistance, while the relatively soft brass material enables easy installation and a tight seal. The chrome plating provides an easy-to-clean surface that resists dirt and bacteria accumulation, maintaining a shiny finish. These fittings contain lead and are therefore prohibited by federal law for potable water installation in the U.S.A. and its territories.
