The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1/2 square head solid plug NPT male is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It features pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The chrome plated brass construction provides superior corrosion resistance, while the material's relative softness allows for easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These fittings are easy to clean, do not attract dirt and bacteria, and maintain a shiny finish. The fitting contains lead and is not permitted for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories in accordance with federal law.
