The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1/2 x 1/8 reducing coupling with NPT female threads, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and they comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They offer superior corrosion resistance, while the material's relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal.
