Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1/4 locknut NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fitting has a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Constructed from chrome plated brass, it offers superior corrosion resistance, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. The fitting contains lead and is not permitted by federal law for installation in potable water systems within the USA and its territories.
