The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-1/4 x 1 x 1 reducing tee with NPT female connections, suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). With pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., these fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They are designed to offer superior corrosion resistance, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. The chrome plated brass construction makes these fittings easy to clean, resistant to dirt and bacteria accumulation, and helps maintain a shiny finish. However, these fittings contain lead and are prohibited by federal law from being used for potable water applications in the U.S.A. and its territories.
