Engineered for safety and economy, the hopper is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps to prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The hopper features a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. It includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
