The low-profile design positions the Series 55 hopper within easy reach, allowing a single operator to easily dump its contents by pulling the 3-foot steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90° to empty completely, with the tilt stopping automatically and the hopper returning to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. Constructed with a reinforced and braced formed steel base and precision robotic welds, the unit is strong and industrial grade, featuring a 1/8-inch (12 gauge) steel hopper and a 3/16-inch (7 gauge) steel base. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request, and a safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift.
