The low-profile design of the hopper puts it within easy reach, allowing a single operator to easily dump the hopper contents by pulling the 3-foot steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90 degrees to empty completely, with tilt stops that engage automatically and the hopper returning to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. The unit features a reinforced and braced formed steel base with precision robotic welds for a strong, industrial-grade construction. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift. The hopper is constructed from Series "55" 1/8-inch steel (12 gauge) with a 3/16-inch (7 gauge) steel base.
