The low-profile design positions the Series "55" hopper within easy reach, allowing a single operator to dump the contents by pulling the 3-foot-long steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90° angle for complete emptying, with tilt stops that automatically engage and a hopper that returns to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. The unit features a reinforced and braced formed steel base with precision robotic welds, delivering a strong, industrial-grade construction. The hopper is made of 1/8-inch (12 gauge) steel, with a 3/16-inch (7 gauge) steel base, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift.
