The hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a perfectly balanced design that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump fully, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. It has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for added safety and strength, and extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material. The hopper includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base that allows forklift access.
