Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps to prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. The strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism secures the load, and a safety chain is included to wrap around the mast of the forklift, preventing the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
