The low-profile design places the hopper within easy reach, allowing a single operator to effortlessly dump the hopper contents by pulling the 3-foot steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90° angle to empty completely, with the tilt stopping automatically and the hopper returning to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. The unit features a reinforced and braced formed steel base with precision robotic welds for durability and industrial strength. The Series "55" hopper is constructed from 1/8-inch steel (12 gauge) with a 3/16-inch (7 gauge) steel base, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift.
