The 1 yd³ BSC Preferred™ medium-duty self dumping forklift hopper has a 4000 lbs. weight capacity and is engineered for efficient material handling, automatically returning upright and ready for reloading after dumping completely. It features extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material and is constructed from sturdy 11-gauge steel with continuous welding to extend service life and minimize leaks of water and other liquids. The hopper includes a smooth, formed top edge and pouring lip to improve safety and strength, and a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Custom colors can be provided using Sherwin-Williams paint codes. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of ordering include legs for pallet truck access, chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. OSHA requires contacting the forklift manufacturer for written approval before using any forklift attachments.
