The 1 yd³ BSC Preferred™ medium-duty self dumping forklift hopper has a 4000 lbs. weight capacity and is engineered for efficient material handling. It is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Constructed from sturdy 11-gauge steel with continuous welding, the hopper offers extended service life and minimizes leaking of water and other liquids. It features extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material, a smooth formed top edge, and a pouring lip for improved safety and strength. The package includes a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Custom colors are available based on Sherwin-Williams paint codes. Factory-installed upgrades can be ordered, including legs for pallet truck access, chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access. OSHA requires contacting the forklift manufacturer for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
