Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps to prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. They feature a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material. The stacking feature is standard on this model and permits stacking of empty hoppers. The design includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
