The 1 yd³ BSC Preferred™ medium-duty self-dumping forklift hopper has a 4000 lbs. weight capacity and is engineered for efficient material handling, automatically returning upright and ready for reloading after dumping. It features extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material, sturdy 11-gauge steel construction with continuous welding to extend service life and minimize leakage of water and other liquids, and a smooth, formed top edge with a pouring lip for improved safety and strength. The included safety chain wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access. Custom colors are available using a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval before using any forklift attachments.
