Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. They feature continuous welding to help prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. A formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. The stacking feature is standard, allowing for stacking of empty hoppers. The unit includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain designed to wrap around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
