The hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring perfect balance to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. It includes a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material, and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is provided to wrap around the forklift mast, preventing the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
