Continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The design includes a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. A strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism ensures secure closure, and a safety chain is included to wrap around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access.
