The low-profile design positions the hopper within easy reach, allowing a single operator to easily dump the contents by pulling the 3-foot-long steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90° to empty completely, with tilt stops automatically engaging and the hopper returning to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. The unit features a reinforced and braced formed steel base with precision robotic welds for a strong, industrial-grade construction. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift. The Series "77" hopper and base are constructed of 3/16-inch (7 gauge) steel.
