Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. The strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism ensures secure closure, and a safety chain is included that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base that provides forklift access.
