Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps to prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The hopper features a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material. A strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism ensures secure closure, and a safety chain is included to wrap around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base that allows forklift access.
