The 20V Max brushless cordless 4.5 in. slide-switch grinder is designed for complete grinding applications, maintaining constant speed under load with an efficient brushless motor that delivers up to 850 MWO and up to 9,000 RPM (no load). It features overload protection, anti-rotation safety features including a kickback brake and e-Clutch under the Perform & Protect™ system, and slide-switch operation for continual use. The grinder accommodates 4.5 in. wheels, suitable for common size applications ranging from 4 in. to 5 in. wheel acceptance, and includes a Type B guard for grinding plus a clip-on guard to convert the Type B guard for cutting operations. Durable mesh screens help prevent debris from damaging internal components. The kit comes with one DCG407 4-1/2 in. grinder, one side handle, one clip-on guard, inner and outer flange, one hex wrench, a DEWALT 20V Max 5Ah DCB205 battery, a DCB1106 charger, and a soft kit bag. This tool offers a run time of up to 56 cuts of 1/2" rebar and requires minimal maintenance due to the brushless motor design.
