The 20V Max Brushless Cordless 3 in. Cut-Off Tool Kit features a brushless motor delivering 550 MWO and a no-load speed of 20,000 RPM, designed to cut through materials such as metal, tile, stone, plastic, and drywall/fiber cement. The kit includes one 20V Max battery, a charger, a contractor bag, one hex wrench, the XR® Brushless Cordless 3 in. cut-off tool, and a removable dust shroud with adjustable shoe and airlock connection compatible with DEWALT extractors. Key features include onboard storage and spindle lock for quick wheel changes without hex wrenches, tool-free depth adjustment with both mm and inch markings on the dust shroud, and a tool-free adjustable guard for quickly changing spark direction when cutting metal. It also includes an adaptor ring to fit 3 in. wheels requiring a 7/16 in. arbor over the 3/8 in. arbor of the tool. The tool is CHIP-ready, accepting the Tool Connect™ chip DCE042 (sold separately) for use with the Site Manager app for asset management, and offers integrated lanyard ready capability for drop protection, as well as an integrated LED for working in dark areas. Dimensions and certifications comply with industry standards for cordless cut-off tools, and the kit comes with a standard manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
