The 3ft wide ducted fume hood includes one 6" OD exhaust collar and requires an external blower. The Air Science® Purair® ducted basic fume hoods are exterior-venting exhaust hoods designed to protect personnel from exposure to hazardous agents and toxic chemicals in various applications. These hoods are ideal for situations generating high volumes of volatile organic compounds, toxic chemicals, gases, or powders on the work surface. As a ducted fume hood, the Purair ducted basic uses an external ducting system, and the air intake face velocity can be adjusted to balance conditioned room air conservation with the necessary volume of exhausted contaminated air. The unit features a chemical-resistant epoxy coated steel frame and 360-degree visibility to protect the operator from fume hazards.
