The Atomic™ 20V Max die grinder with Lanyard Ready™ attachment point (battery, charger, and lanyard sold separately) is designed for high-powered applications in tight spaces, featuring a compact design that is 45% smaller than the Milwaukee M18 die grinder to access hard-to-reach areas. It incorporates the DeWalt® anti-rotation system that quickly stops the wheel during a pinch, stall, or bind-up event to reduce reactionary torque for greater control. This grinder delivers up to 445 MWO with a powerful brushless motor providing up to 2x the power of the Milwaukee M12 die grinder, along with a variable speed trigger allowing speeds up to 24,500 RPM to optimize performance. A paddle switch with lock off and no-lock on features replicates pneumatic tool operation, while a forward exhaust system directs air away from the user to help prevent motor overheating. The tool includes a bright onboard LED to illuminate the work surface and is Lanyard Ready™ for tethering to rigid structures on jobsites when working at height. It is also Tool Connect™ chip ready, allowing pairing with the Tool Connect™ chip and app for jobsite asset management and tool location.
