Ridgid thread cutting oils are formulated without chlorine, halogens, PCBs, or heavy metals, and a complete Material Safety Data Sheet is available. The Endura-Clear™ variant is designed to maximize wear resistance, resulting in an increased die life by up to 60% and a reduction in operating costs by up to 30% compared to Nu-Clear. This formulation has undergone testing to ensure chemical compatibility with Flowguard Gold®, Blazemaster®, and Corzan® pipes and fittings, and it is included in the FBC™ System Compatible Program. The Dark Oil is a traditional mineral oil featuring a low odor and anti-mist formulation, while Nu-Clear® oil is a clear mineral oil, also with low odor and anti-mist properties, capable of maintaining workable viscosity down to -20°F. The Extreme Performance Oil is a high-performance mineral oil that produces superior quality threads on stainless steel and black pipe. The FBC™ System Compatible designation ensures ongoing monitoring of the product’s compatibility with Flowguard Gold®, Blazemaster®, and Corzan® fittings. These oils cool threads and pipes during operation, enhance metal removal, improve thread quality, and reduce threading torque.
