Ridgid thread cutting oils are designed to be free of chlorine and other halogens, PCBs, and heavy metals, with complete material safety data sheets available. The Endura-Clear™ formulation is specifically engineered to maximize wear resistance, resulting in increased die life by up to 60% and a significant reduction in operating costs by up to 30% compared to Nu-Clear. The oils have been tested to ensure chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fittings, and are included in the FBC™ system compatible program. The Dark Oil is a traditional mineral oil characterized by its low odor and anti-mist formulation, while Nu-Clear® Oil is a clear mineral oil with similar low odor and anti-mist properties. The special low-temperature formulation maintains workable viscosity down to -20°F. The Extreme Performance Oil is a high-performance mineral oil designed for superior quality threading on stainless steel and black pipe. The FBC™ system compatibility indicates that the product has undergone evaluation by the manufacturer and is continuously monitored for compatibility with the specified pipe and fittings.
