Ridgid thread cutting oils are free of chlorine and other halogens, PCBs, and heavy metals, ensuring a safer application. The product line includes Endura-Clear™, which maximizes wear resistance, increasing die life by up to 60% and significantly reducing operating costs by up to 30% compared to Nu-Clear. The formulation has been tested for chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fittings, and it is included in the FBC™ System Compatible program. Dark Oil is a traditional mineral oil with low odor and an anti-mist formulation, while Nu-Clear® Oil is a clear mineral oil with similar properties. The Special low temperature properties maintain workable viscosity to -20°F. Extreme Performance Oil is a high-performance mineral oil designed to produce superior quality threads on stainless steel and black pipe. The FBC™ System Compatible designation indicates that this product has been submitted for ongoing chemical compatibility monitoring with the specified pipe and fittings. Its features include cooling threads and pipe during operation, speeding metal removal, improving thread quality, and reducing threading torque. The manufacturer also agrees not to change the product after it has passed the testing process for FBC™ compatibility.
