Ridgid thread cutting oils are formulated without chlorine, halogens, PCBs, or heavy metals, and a complete material safety data sheet is available. The Endura-Clear™ formulation enhances wear resistance, increasing die life by up to 60% and reducing operating costs by up to 30% compared to Nu-Clear. This oil has been tested for chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fittings, and has been included in the FBC™ system compatible program. The Dark Oil is a traditional mineral oil characterized by low odor and an anti-mist formulation, while Nu-Clear® oil features a clear mineral oil design that also offers low odor and anti-mist properties. Both formulas maintain workable viscosity at low temperatures, with special low temperature properties effective to -20°F. The Extreme Performance Oil is a high-performance mineral oil designed to create superior quality threads on stainless steel and black pipe. The FBC™ system compatibility indicates that the product has undergone testing by the manufacturer and is continually monitored to ensure its chemical compatibility with the specified pipe and fittings, with the manufacturer agreeing not to alter the product after passing the test.
