Ridgid thread cutting oils are formulated without chlorine, halogens, PCBs, or heavy metals, ensuring safer use. The Complete Material Safety Data Sheet is available for reference. The Endura-Clear™ formulation is designed to optimize wear resistance, potentially increasing die life by up to 60% and reducing operating costs by up to 30% compared to Nu-Clear. It has been tested for chemical compatibility with Flowguard Gold®, Blazemaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fittings, and is included in the FBC™ system compatible program. The product line includes Dark Oil, a traditional mineral oil with low odor and anti-mist formulation; Nu-Clear® oil, a clear mineral oil with similar properties; and Extreme Performance Oil, a high-performance mineral oil developed for superior thread quality on stainless steel and black pipe, featuring low temperature properties that maintain workable viscosity down to -20°F. The FBC™ system compatibility indicates ongoing monitoring for compatibility with specified pipe and fittings. Additionally, these oils provide several key features: they cool threads and pipes during operation, speed up metal removal, improve thread quality, and reduce threading torque.
