The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2091/07000(AAD) is designed for P100 respiratory protection, featuring a package that includes 2 filters per pack. This product is NIOSH approved for use in environments with certain oil and non-oil based particles. It is compatible with 3M™ respirators from the 5000 series or the 6000 series with the 3M™ adapter 502. Additionally, it can be used with 3M™ half and full facepieces from the 6000, 7000, and FF-400 series that have bayonet filter holders. When fitted correctly, this filter is suitable for a range of applications such as welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and is effective against exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA, allowing for use in concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) with half facepieces and 50 times PEL with full facepieces. It is important to note that full facepieces must undergo quantitative fit testing to ensure the claimed assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode, and the filter should not be used in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
