The Merit Brass 125 lb Lead Free Fitting 1" 45 Degree Street Elbow features a NPT male x female connection designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The red brass fitting has pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for water, oil, and gas, complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. It offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass and because of the material’s relative softness, it allows for easy installation and creates a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam environments.
