The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting includes a 1" locknut NPT female red brass fitting that can be utilized in low-pressure applications for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They are designed to offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, while the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Mainly used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
