The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 1" x 1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. Designed for low pressure applications, it is suitable for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), featuring a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. This fitting complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, ensuring reliable performance. The red brass material provides superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and its relative softness facilitates easy installation and a tight seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, it is also applicable in oil, gas, and steam systems.
