The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" hex bushing with NPT male x female connections, designed for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These red brass fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and a tight seal. Brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, and also applicable in oil, gas, and steam systems.
