The Merit Brass 150 lb lead-free fitting is a 1-1/2" threaded companion flange with NPT female connections. Constructed from red brass, these fittings are designed for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for water, oil, and gas, and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the softer material allows for easy installation and a secure seal. Primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam systems.
