The Merit Brass 150 lb lead-free fitting is a 2" threaded companion flange with an NPT female connection. Made from red brass, these fittings are suitable for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). They have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and conform to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications but are also applicable in oil, gas, and steam systems.
