The Merit Brass 150 lb lead-free fitting is a 2-1/2" threaded companion flange with NPT female connections, designed for use in low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It features pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made from red brass, these fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. While primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, they are also suitable for applications involving oil, gas, and steam.
