The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting 1/2" x 1/8" hex bushing features NPT male x female connections and is made from red brass, suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This fitting has pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. It offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, while its relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These brass fittings are primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, as well as in oil, gas, and steam systems.
