The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 1/4" coupling NPT female designed for use in low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This fitting has a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., meeting ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Constructed from red brass, these fittings offer superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily utilized for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, they are also suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications. The product is backed by a warranty.
