The Merit Brass 250 lb lead free fitting 1/4" 90 degree street elbow NPT male x female is a red brass fitting designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It has pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fitting offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, while its relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, it is also suitable for oil, gas, and steam service.
