The Camshelving Elements Starter Unit features four shelves with antimicrobial Camguard protection that is permanently molded into the shelf plates, allowing for easy cleaning and compatibility with commercial dishwashers. Each shelf has a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) for 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelves and 600 lbs (272 kg) for 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelves, with a total unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (907.2 kg). This unit can withstand temperatures ranging from -36°F (-38°C) to 190°F (88°C) and includes four posts, two sets of post connectors, wedges, traverses, dovetails, and vented shelf plates. It is NSF listed and made in the USA, ensuring compliance with strict safety and sanitation standards. Additionally, all Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and shelf plates can be easily removed for washing without disassembly. The design allows for rearranging traverses and plates without affecting adjacent components, and the shared post design enables seamless addition of units in a straight line without compromising space or load capacity. Add-on units are compatible only with Camshelving of the same series.
