Oil-eating microbes "supercharge" Mother Nature's own bioremediation process. Ultra-Archaea® microbes are 100% natural, hardy, and fast-acting microbes that have an affinity for oil and other hydrocarbons, as well as organic waste. This specific consortium of microbes has not been genetically altered or engineered and has been on the EPA National Contingency List since its inception. Ultra-Archaea® are housed in a bentonite clay powder that provides the slightly moist environment needed for them to live. Resealable/water-proof containers keep microbes dry and dormant until they are needed. Their applications extend beyond oil spills, encompassing wastewater treatment plants such as refineries, pulp mills, chemical plants, steel mills, textile plants, municipal collection systems, and food processing.
