The Oil Blanket measures 10' W x 5' L and is designed with tethers and stake anchors for effective installation in surf along beaches and shorelines, enabling it to absorb oil spills before they reach the land. This large section of Ultra X-Tex rapidly removes oil and other hydrocarbons, with the blanket engineered to "tumble" in the surf and filter out oil from the water as it passes through the specially designed fabric. The Ultra Filter-Tex material offers the distinct advantage of extracting emulsified oils generated by the turbulent surf and by dispersants applied to offshore oil slicks. The kit includes 25' tethers and two 36" wooden anchors for secure deployment.
