The Ultra-absorbent tarp measures 5' x 5' and is designed to catch and trap oil drips before they reach the ground, making it ideal for use under machinery and equipment during maintenance or repairs to catch fluid leaks. This tarp conveniently rolls or folds into a small package, allowing for easy storage in vehicles for onsite repairs. It helps keep floors free of oily messes and reduces slip hazards. The three-layer system offers maximum protection: the top layer consists of UV resistant geotextile fabric that allows oils to pass through; the middle layer features an absorbent core made of oil-only polypropylene that traps oils while permitting stormwater to evaporate; and the bottom layer has an impermeable backing that prevents drips from leaching through to the ground or shop floor. This product assists in compliance with NPDES regulations, specifically 40 CFR 122.26 (1999).
